Speedy Tacos

Recipe Ingredients

4 oz 113gGround sirloin
1/4 cup 15g / 0.5ozChopped onion
1   Garlic clove - minced
1/3 cup 78mlNo-salt-added tomato sauce
1 tablespoon 15mlTaco seasonings
6   Taco shells
1/4 cup 36g / 1.3ozShredded reduced-fat Cheddar cheese - (2 oz)
1/2 cup 118mlShredded lettuce
1/3 cup 20g / 0.7ozChopped tomato
1/4 cup 15g / 0.5ozChopped onion
  Hot pepper sauce - (optional)

Recipe Instructions

Heat small skillet over medium heat until hot. Add beef, onion and garlic; cook and stir 5 minutes until beef is browned, breaking up meat with spoon. Add tomato sauce and seasonings; cook 5 minutes.

Warm taco shells in oven following package directions.

Fill taco shells with meat mixture, cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion. Serve with pepper sauce, if desired.

This recipe yields 2 servings (3 tacos each).
