1/3 cup | 78ml | No-salt-added tomato sauce |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Taco seasonings |

1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Shredded reduced-fat Cheddar cheese - (2 oz) |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Shredded lettuce |
1/3 cup | 20g / 0.7oz | Chopped tomato |
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Chopped onion |
Hot pepper sauce - (optional) |
Heat small skillet over medium heat until hot. Add beef, onion and garlic; cook and stir 5 minutes until beef is browned, breaking up meat with spoon. Add tomato sauce and seasonings; cook 5 minutes.
Warm taco shells in oven following package directions.
Fill taco shells with meat mixture, cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion. Serve with pepper sauce, if desired.
This recipe yields 2 servings (3 tacos each).
