Linguine With Pesto Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Fresh basil without stems - chopped |
| 1/4 cup | 59ml | Toasted pine nuts |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Minced garlic |
| 3/4 cup | 177ml | Extra-virgin olive oil |
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
| 1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Linguine pasta - cooked |
Put the basil, pine nuts, and garlic into a food processor on medium speed. Slowly drizzle the olive oil into the food processor while it is running. Turn the food processor off, add the black pepper, and mix well. Server over cooked linguine.
This recipe yields 4 servings. Serving size: 1 cup pasta, 1/2 cup pesto.
