Spice blends are a quick and popular way to season food before baking or grilling.

1 tablespoon | 15ml | Minced garlic |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Lime juice |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Olive oil |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Dried thyme leaves |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Ground nutmeg |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Ground cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Ground allspice |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Ground cloves |
Yogurt Mint Sauce | ||
1/2 cup | 118ml | Plain nonfat yogurt |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Brown sugar |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Minced fresh mint leaves |
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Prepare Yogurt Mint Sauce. Combine all ingredients in small bowl; mix well. (Makes 1/2 cup)
Spray jelly-roll pan with nonstick cooking spray. Place breasts on prepared pan. Combine garlic, lime juice, oil, thyme, nutmeg, cinnamon, pepper, allspice and cloves in small bowl; spread evenly over breasts.
Bake 15 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink in center. Serve with Yogurt Sauce.
