Jammin' Pork Tenderloin Recipe - Cooking Index
Pork tenderloin is one of the leanest cuts available at the supermarket meat department. If trimmed, a single portion has only 1 gram of saturated fat. That's why it's such a healthy choice!
Type: Pork1/4 cup | 59ml | Honey |
1/3 cup | 78ml | Lime juice |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Grated lime peel |
2 | Garlic cloves - minced | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Yellow mustard |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
2 | Pork tenderloins - (2 lbs total) - well trimmed |
In a large resealable plastic storage bag, combine all the ingredients except the tenderloins; mix well. Add the tenderloins, seal, and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or overnight, turning the bag occasionally.
Preheat the broiler. Place the pork on a broiler pan or rimmed baking sheet; discard the marinade. Broil for 7 to 9 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.
Slice the tenderloins across the grain and serve.
This recipe yields 8 servings. Serving size: 4 to 5 slices.
