Broiled Ham Steak Recipe - Cooking Index

2 teaspoons | 10ml | Prepared mustard |
Choose a precooked center-cut ham steak 1/2-inch thick.
Cut ridges in the fat surrounding ham so that the edges will not curl. Brush each side with 1 teaspoon prepared mustard.
Broil ham 3 inches from broiler heat for 3 minutes on each side. Trim fat from outside edges and discard.
If you are using fresh ham, broil ham slice 3 inches from broiler heat for 7 to 8 minutes on each side.
This recipe yields 1 serving. Serving size: 3 ounces lean.
