Better Burgers Recipe - Cooking Index
This better burger is made with ground turkey breast. Serve it with a tomato slice and spinach on an English muffin and you've got a great meal with extra nutrients.

1/4 lb | 113g / 4oz | Onion - minced (small) |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Chopped fresh parsley |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Dried basil |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Dried oregano |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Freshly-ground white pepper |
1 | Egg - lightly beaten | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | All-purpose flour |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Grated Parmesan cheese |
In a medium bowl, combine the turkey, onion, parsley, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper until well blended. With a fork, blend in the egg and flour. Shape the mixture into 4 burgers, about 1/2-inch thick.
Spray a medium skillet with nonstick cooking spray; heat. Cook the burgers, turning occasionally until fully cooked, about 5 to 7 minutes. Sprinkle each burger with 1/2 tablespoon cheese before serving.
This recipe yields 4 servings. Serving size: 1 burger.
