Tuna Stuffed Peppers Recipe - Cooking Index
Cooked, shredded chicken may be used in place of tuna.
Type: Fish| 2 cups | 474ml | Tomato juice |
| 1 | Tomato paste - (6 oz) | |
| 2 | Tuna - (7 oz ea) - drained | |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Dried onion flakes |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Dried vegetable flakes |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Garlic powder |
| 4 teaspoons | 20ml | Green peppers - tops removed, (medium) |
| And seeded |
Mix juice and paste. Reserve one cup. Mix remaining ingredients (except peppers) with remaining juice mixture. Fill peppers with meat mixture. Place in crock pot. Pour reserved juice mixture over peppers. Cover and cook on LOW setting for 8 to 9 hours.
This recipe yields 4 servings.
