Crockpot Italian Beef And Potatoes Recipe - Cooking Index
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Lean ground beef |
1/2 lb | 227g / 8oz | Onion - chopped (small) |
1 | Box scalloped potatoes and sauce mix | |
1 | Diced tomatoes - (16 oz) | |
1 | Tomato sauce - (8 oz) | |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Water |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Oregano |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Garlic powder |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Basil |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Cubed mozzarella cheese |
Brown ground beef and onion. Drain well. Put in bottom of crockpot. Mix in potatoes and sauce mix. Add remaining ingredients except cheese. Cook on LOW for 5 to 6 hours.
Turn to HIGH and stir in cheese. Let cook for an additional 15 minutes.
