Crockpot Caldillo (Green Chili Stew) Recipe - Cooking Index

2 tablespoons | 30ml | Oil |

1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Onion |
1 | Garlic cloves - crushed | |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Salt |
1 oz | 28g | Green chilies - diced |
Cube meat, sprinkle with salt and fry until brown in oil. Transfer browned meat to the crockpot.
Dice potatoes and add to browned meat; slice onions and add, then garlic, salt, chilies and enough water to cover. Cook on LOW for 4 to 5 hours. Continue to add water if necessary. It will have a soupy consistency.
