Pork Chop And Potatoes In Mustard Sauce

Recipe Ingredients

6   Pork loin chops - (to 8)
2 tablespoons 30mlCooking oil
1   Cream of mushroom soup - (10 3/4 oz)
1/4 cup 59mlChicken broth
1/4 cup 59mlCountry Dijon-Style Mustard
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlDried thyme - crushed
1   Garlic clove - minced
  (or 1/4 tspn garlic powder)
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlFreshly-ground black pepper
6 teaspoons 30mlPotatoes - cut thin slices (medium)
1   Onion - sliced

Recipe Instructions

In a skillet, brown pork chops on both sides in hot oil. Drain off fat.

In any size crockpot, mix cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, mustard, thyme, garlic and pepper. Add potatoes and onion, stirring to coat. Place browned pork chops on top of potato mixture.

Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours or on HIGH for 4 to 5 hours.

This recipe yields 6 servings.
