Pork Chop And Potatoes In Mustard Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
6 | Pork loin chops - (to 8) | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Cooking oil |
1 | Cream of mushroom soup - (10 3/4 oz) | |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Chicken broth |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Country Dijon-Style Mustard |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Dried thyme - crushed |
1 | Garlic clove - minced | |
(or 1/4 tspn garlic powder) | ||
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
6 teaspoons | 30ml | Potatoes - cut thin slices (medium) |
1 | Onion - sliced |
In a skillet, brown pork chops on both sides in hot oil. Drain off fat.
In any size crockpot, mix cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, mustard, thyme, garlic and pepper. Add potatoes and onion, stirring to coat. Place browned pork chops on top of potato mixture.
Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours or on HIGH for 4 to 5 hours.
This recipe yields 6 servings.
