Marinated Chicken And Pork Recipe - Cooking Index
3 lbs | 1362g / 48oz | Chicken pieces |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Lean boneless pork - cubed |
1 cup | 237ml | Dry red wine |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
3 cups | 711ml | Beef broth |
2 | Garlic cloves - crushed | |
3 | Tomatoes - chopped | |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Rosemary |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
Place chicken pieces and pork cubes in a large bowl. Mix all other ingredients thoroughly, pour over chicken and pork. Allow meat to marinate for at least two hours in the refrigerator. It can marinate overnight if you'd like.
Transfer chicken, pork, and marinade to crockpot. Cover and cook on LOW for about 6 to 8 hours or until chicken and pork are thoroughly cooked.
Very good over warm noodles.
