Curried Beef Stew Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Peeled small whole onions |
| 1 cup | 110g / 3.9oz | Fresh baby carrots |
| 12 cups | 2844ml | New potatoes - halved, (abt 4 cups) (small) |
| 2 lbs | 908g / 32oz | Boneless beef chuck steak - cut 1 1/2" pieces |
| 1 | Diced tomatoes - (14 1/2 oz) - undrained | |
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Apple juice |
| 4 teaspoons | 20ml | Curry powder |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
In 3 1/2- to 4-quart crockpot, layer onions, carrots and potatoes. Place beef over vegetables.
In medium bowl, combine all remaining ingredients; mix well. Pour over beef. Cover; cook on LOW setting for 8 to 10 hours.
This recipe yields 6 (1 1/2 cup) servings.
