Chicken Pasta With Smoked Gouda Recipe - Cooking Index
1 1/2 lbs | 681g / 24oz | Boneless chicken tenders |
2 lbs | 908g / 32oz | Zucchini - halved, and (small) |
Sliced 1/8" thick | ||
1 | Chicken gravy mix - (1 oz) | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Water |
Salt - to taste | ||
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste | ||
1 | Ground nutmeg - fresh if possible | |
8 oz | 227g | Fresh Gouda cheese - grated |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Evaporated milk or light cream |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Tomato - chopped (large) |
4 cups | 948ml | Cooked macaroni or small shell pasta |
Cut chicken into 1-inch cubes; place in crockpot. Add zucchini, gravy mix, water, and seasoning. Cover and cook for 5 to 6 hours on LOW.
Add cheese, milk and tomato to the crockpot during the last 20 minutes, or while the pasta is cooking. Stir in pasta.
