Beefy Mac 'n' Cheese Recipe - Cooking Index
1 1/2 lbs | 681g / 24oz | Lean ground beef |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Onion - chopped (medium) |
1 | Cheese sauce mix | |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Water |
1 | Cream of mushroom or | |
Cream of chicken soup - (10 3/4 oz) | ||
1 | Stewed tomatoes - (15 oz) | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Tomato paste |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Shredded Cheddar cheese |
8 oz | 227g | Macaroni - cooked until |
Just tender |
Brown ground beef and onions. Combine all ingredients, except shredded cheese and macaroni, in the crockpot. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 hours.
Add cheese and continue cooking for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese has melted.
This recipe yields 4 servings.
