Spicy Beef Roast Recipe - Cooking Index
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Cracked black peppercorns - (to 2 tbspns) |
2 | Garlic cloves - minced | |
3 lbs | 1362g / 48oz | Beef round tip roast or brisket - trimmed of fat |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Balsamic vinegar |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Reduced-sodium soy sauce |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Worcestershire sauce |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Dry mustard |
Rub cracked pepper and garlic into roast. Put roast in a slow cooker. Make several shallow slits in top of roast.
In a small bowl, combine all remaining ingredients and pour over meat. Cover; cook on LOW setting 8 to 10 hours or HIGH 4 to 5 hours.
This recipe yields 12 servings.
