Mary's Hoisin Chicken Recipe - Cooking Index
3 lbs | 1362g / 48oz | Chicken thighs, legs, or pieces |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Hoisin sauce |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Plum chutney or plum sauce |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Soy sauce |
1 cup | 237ml | Fresh ginger root piece - sliced thin (medium) |
Juice of 1 lime | ||
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Cornstarch |
Mix all the ingredients (except chicken) in a bowl. Add chicken; coat well and put it all in a crockpot. Cook 5 to 6 hours on LOW. Serve with rice.
This recipe yields 4 servings.
