Beef And Potatoes Recipe - Cooking Index
2 lbs | 908g / 32oz | Lean ground beef |
1 | Condensed tomato soup | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
6 teaspoons | 30ml | Potatoes - peeled, sliced (medium) |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
1 cup | 237ml | Light cream |
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Onions - chopped fine |
In large skillet or crockpot with browning unit, brown beef; break up large chunks with fork. Pour off excess fat. In a small bowl, mix together salt, pepper, onion, and undiluted soup.
In crock pot arrange alternate layers of potatoes and meat, with potatoes on bottom. Pour soup mixture over. Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 6 hours.
Turn control to HIGH. Pour cream over all; cover and cook on HIGH for 15 to 20 minutes.
This recipe yields 6 servings.
