Crock Pot Chicken Cacciatore Recipe - Cooking Index
2 1/2 lbs | 1135g / 40oz | Chicken - (to 3 lbs) - skin removed |
1 | Stewed tomatoes | |
1 | Tomato sauce | |
2 | Garlic cloves - diced | |
1 | Onion - diced (medium) | |
2 | Celery stalks - chopped | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Oregano |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Sweet basil |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Rosemary |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Cilantro |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
Mix stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce; add rest of ingredients. Mix well. Pour over chicken and turn crock pot on HIGH until mixture begins to boil. Turn down on LOW and let simmer for the day. Serve over pasta or rice.
