Cornish Crock Pot Recipe - Cooking Index
2 | Cornish game hens | |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Chicken stock |
Salt - to taste | ||
Lemon pepper - to taste | ||
1 1/2 tablespoons | 22ml | Cornstarch - mixed with |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Cold water |
Hot boiled rice |
Place Cornish hens in the crockpot (brown hens in a lightly greased skillet first, if desired); sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook on LOW setting for 7 to 9 hours.
Remove hens and skim fat; thicken juices with the cornstarch mixture. Serve with rice.
This recipe yields 2 servings.
