Chili Turkey Recipe - Cooking Index
This will probably also work without the prior browning but as we all know, that extra step usually adds flavor.
Type: Poultry, Turkey1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Turkey/chicken tenders or cutlets |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Chili or taco seasoning |
2 | Garlic cloves - finely minced | |
1 cup | 237ml | Salsa (your choice of degree) |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Peach, apricot or plum preserves |
Cut meat into cubes or strips. Dust with seasoning and quickly brown together with garlic on top of stove. Put meat into crockpot. Deglaze skillet with salsa and jam then pour over chicken. Cook on LOW for 4 to 6 hours
