Chicken With Cranberries Recipe - Cooking Index
6 | Boneless skinless chicken breasts | |
1 | Onion - chopped (small) | |
1 cup | 93g / 3.3oz | Fresh cranberries |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Ground cinnamon |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Ground ginger |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Brown sugar or honey |
1 cup | 237ml | Orange juice |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Flour - mixed with |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Cold water |
Place all ingredients, except flour-water mixture, in the crockpot. Cover and cook on LOW 6 to 7 hours, until chicken is tender.
Add flour mixture in the last 15 to 20 minutes and cook until thickened. Taste and adjust seasonings.
This recipe yields 4 servings.
