Chicken Pineapple Oriental Recipe - Cooking Index
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Chicken tenders - (to 1 1/2 lbs) - cut in 1" pieces |
2/3 cup | 157ml | Pineapple preserves |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Terriyaki sauce - plus |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Terriyaki sauce |
2 | Garlic cloves - sliced thinly | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Dried minced onion |
(or 1 bunch fresh green onions, chopped) | ||
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Lemon juice |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Ginger |
1 | Cayenne - or to taste | |
1 | Sugar snap peas - (10 oz) - thawed |
Place chicken pieces in crockpot. Combine preserves, terriyaki sauce, garlic, onion, lemon juice, ginger, and cayenne; stir well. Spoon over chicken, toss to coat. Cover and cook on LOW 6 to 7 hours. Add peas last 30 minutes.
This recipe yields 4 servings.
