1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Onion - chopped (medium) |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Cabbage head (small) |
2 | Diced tomatoes - (15 oz ea) | |
1 | Tomato sauce - (8 oz) | |
(or 1 can condensed tomato soup) | ||
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Cinnamon - (to 1 tspn) |
Salt - to taste | ||
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste | ||
2 cups | 320g / 11oz | Hot cooked rice |
Brown ground beef with onion; transfer to crockpot. Slice cabbage into small wedges; place on ground beef. Mix tomatoes, sauce, and seasonings; pour over all. Cover and cook on LOW 8 to 10 hours. Serve over the rice or mix together.
