Betty's Low-cal Meatloaf Recipe - Cooking Index
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Extra lean ground beef |
(can use ground turkey) | ||
2 cups | 474ml | Shredded cabbage |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Green pepper - chopped fine (medium) |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
1 | Garlic powder | |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Celery powder/salt |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Crushed dried onion flakes |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Caraway seed - (optional) |
1 | Egg - beaten, (optional) |
Thoroughly combine all ingredients. Shape into round loaf. Place accessory meat rack in crockpot. Place meat loaf on rack. Cover and cook on HIGH for 4 to 6 hours. This recipe can be doubled to fit a large 6 quart crockpot.
