Tangy Bratwurst And Cabbage

Recipe Ingredients

1 lb 454g / 16ozBratwurst
1 lb 454g / 16ozOnion - chopped (large)
1 lb 454g / 16ozCabbage head - coarsely chopped (small)
3   Potatoes - (to 4) - cubed or sliced
1   Cream of chicken soup with herbs
1/2 cup 118mlApple jelly
1 tablespoon 15mlWine or cider vinegar
2 teaspoons 10mlCaraway seed
  Salt - to taste
  Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste

Recipe Instructions

Brown bratwurst; drain grease. Place cabbage (steam or boil the cabbage to wilt if using a 4-quart or smaller crock pot), onion, and potatoes in the crockpot; place bratwurst on top. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over all. Cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours.
