Tangy Bratwurst And Cabbage Recipe - Cooking Index

1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Onion - chopped (large) |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Cabbage head - coarsely chopped (small) |
3 | Potatoes - (to 4) - cubed or sliced | |
1 | Cream of chicken soup with herbs | |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Apple jelly |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Wine or cider vinegar |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Caraway seed |
Salt - to taste | ||
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste |
Brown bratwurst; drain grease. Place cabbage (steam or boil the cabbage to wilt if using a 4-quart or smaller crock pot), onion, and potatoes in the crockpot; place bratwurst on top. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over all. Cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours.
