Recipe Ingredients

3/4 cup 120g / 4.2ozBrown sugar - (packed)
1/2 cup 118mlSoy sauce
1/2 cup 118mlKetchup
1/4 cup 59mlHoney
2 tablespoons 30mlCider or white vinegar
3   Garlic cloves - minced
1 teaspoon 5mlGround ginger
  (or abt 2 tspns grated fresh ginger)
1 teaspoon 5mlSalt
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlCrushed red pepper flakes - (to 1/2 tspn)
5 lbs 2270g / 80ozCountry-style pork ribs
1 lb 454g / 16ozOnion - sliced (medium)
2 tablespoons 30mlSesame seeds - toasted
2 tablespoons 30mlChopped green onion

Recipe Instructions

In large bowl, combine, the first nine ingredients. Add ribs and turn to coat. Place the onion in slow cooker; arrange ribs on top. Cover and cook on LOW for 5 to 6 hours. Place ribs on serving platter; sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onion.

This recipe yields 6 servings.
