1/2 cup | 118ml | Soy sauce |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Ketchup |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Honey |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Cider or white vinegar |
3 | Garlic cloves - minced | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Ground ginger |
(or abt 2 tspns grated fresh ginger) | ||
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Crushed red pepper flakes - (to 1/2 tspn) |
5 lbs | 2270g / 80oz | Country-style pork ribs |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Onion - sliced (medium) |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Sesame seeds - toasted |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Chopped green onion |
In large bowl, combine, the first nine ingredients. Add ribs and turn to coat. Place the onion in slow cooker; arrange ribs on top. Cover and cook on LOW for 5 to 6 hours. Place ribs on serving platter; sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onion.
