Pork Steak Casserole Recipe - Cooking Index
1 1/2 lbs | 681g / 24oz | Pork steak cut into strips |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Oil |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Onion - chopped (large) |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Green pepper - chopped (small) |
1 | Mushrooms - (4 oz) - drained | |
1 | Tomato sauce - (8 oz) | |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Brown sugar |
1 1/2 tablespoons | 22ml | Vinegar |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Salt |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Worcestershire sauce |
Brown pork in oil in skillet. To remove excess fat drain on paper towels. Place pork strips and all remaining ingredients in crockpot. Cover and cook for 6 to 8 hours on LOW or 4 hours on HIGH. Serve over noodles or rice.
May be placed in a greased casserole dish and baked for 2 hours at 350 degrees.
