2 lbs | 908g / 32oz | Fat-free smoked sausage - sliced |
1/4 cup | 40g / 1.4oz | Lite brown sugar |
1 | Onion - chopped | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Cornstarch |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Fat-free margarine |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
4 | Apples | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Apple juice or water |
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Sugar-free apple jelly |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Lemon juice |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
Peel, core and slice apples. Combine the cornstarch and water until smooth, then add to apple mixture. Add remaining ingredients and stir to mix. Pour into crockpot and cook on LOW for 4 to 6 hours.
