Turkey Madeira Recipe - Cooking Index
1 1/2 lbs | 681g / 24oz | Turkey breast tenders |
2 oz | 56g | Dried porcini mushrooms |
3/4 cup | 177ml | Chicken broth |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Madeira wine |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Lemon juice |
Salt - to taste | ||
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste |
Season turkey tenders with salt and pepper and place in the crock pot. Add the remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours.
Thicken juices with cornstarch if desired, and serve with rice.
This recipe yields 4 servings.
