Rustic Chicken Recipe - Cooking Index
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Chicken breast tenders - (to 1 1/2 lbs) |
Or boneless chicken breasts cut 1" strips | ||
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Real bacon bits |
1 | Diced tomatoes - (15 oz) - drained | |
1 | Artichoke hearts - (15 oz) - quartered | |
1 | Sliced mushrooms - (4 oz) | |
(or 8 oz fresh sliced mushrooms) | ||
1 | Dry chicken gravy mix - (abt 1 oz) | |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Red wine |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Dijon mustard |
Combine all ingredients in a 3 1/2-quart or larger crockpot; stir to combine. Cover and cook on LOW 6 to 8 hours. Serve over pasta or rice.
