4 | Chicken breast halves - skin removed | |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Paprika |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Vegetable oil |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Onion - chopped (medium) |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Red pepper - chopped (small) (or chopped roasted red pepper) |
3 | Garlic cloves - minced | |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Dried rosemary |
1 can | Crushed tomatoes - (14 1/2 oz) | |
1 packet | Frozen peas - (10 oz) |
Season chicken with salt, pepper, paprika. In skillet, heat oil and brown chicken. Put chicken in crock pot.
In a small bowl combine remaining ingredients, except peas. Pour over chicken. Cover and cook on LOW 7 to 9 hours or on HIGH 3 to 4 hours. One hour before serving add peas. Serve over rice.
