Crockpot Brunswick Stew II

Recipe Ingredients

1   Tomatoes - (16 oz) - cut up
1 cup 237mlTomato paste - (6 oz)
3 cups 187g / 6.6ozCubed cooked chicken
1   Frozen succotash
  (or 1 pkg frozen okra slices)
1 cup 62g / 2.2ozChopped onions
1   Bay leaf
1 teaspoon 5mlSalt
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlDried rosemary - crushed
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlFreshly-ground black pepper
1   Ground cloves
2 1/2 cups 592mlChicken broth

Recipe Instructions

In crockpot, stir together undrained tomatoes and tomato paste. Add chicken, frozen succotash or sliced okra, onion, bay leaf, salt, rosemary, pepper and cloves. Stir in chicken broth. Cover; cook on LOW heat setting for 5 to 6 hours. Before serving, remove bay leaf and stir well.

This recipe yields 6 servings.
