| 3 lbs | 1362g / 48oz | Roast - (to 4 lbs) | 
| 3 | Bay leaves - (to 4) | |
| 3/4 cup | 177ml | Vinegar | 
| 3/4 cup | 120g / 4.2oz | Brown sugar | 
| 14 oz | 397g | Catsup | 
| 1 oz | 28g | Onion - chopped (large) | 
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Pickling spice | 
| 30 | Ginger snaps | 
Put all ingredients in crock pot. Put enough water to cover meat. Cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours. Remove meat; slice.
Put gravy through food mill. Put meat back into gravy.
