Beef Stew With Shiitake Mushrooms Recipe - Cooking Index
You can use 2 cups of sliced regular mushrooms instead of the shiitake ones if you want.

1 | Baby-cut carrots - (8 oz) | |
1 | Fresh shiitake mushrooms - (3.4 oz) - sliced | |
1 | Diced tomatoes - (14 1/2 oz) - undrained | |
1 | Condensed beef broth - (10 1/2 oz) | |
1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Flour |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Worcestershire sauce |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Sugar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Dried marjoram leaves |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Beef stew meat - cut into 1/2" pieces |
Mix all ingredients except beef in crockpot. Add beef. Cover and cook on LOW heat 8 to 9 hours or until vegetables and beef are tender. Stir well before serving.
This recipe yields 8 servings.
