Beef Stew With Raisins

Recipe Ingredients

1 1/2 lbs 681g / 24ozBeef in 2" cubes
2 tablespoons 30mlFlour
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlCelery salt
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlGarlic salt
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlGinger
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlFreshly-ground black pepper
1   Tomatoes - (16 oz)
2 cups 220g / 7.8ozCarrots - thinly sliced
1/4 cup 59mlDark molasses
1/4 cup 59mlSherry cooking wine (or beef broth)
1/4 cup 40g / 1.4ozRaisins
1   Noodles

Recipe Instructions

Place beef in crock pot. Combine flour and seasonings. Sprinkle over the beef. Combine tomatoes, carrots, molasses and wine. Pour over beef. Cover and simmer at LOW setting for 7 to 9 hours.

Add raisins last 30 minutes, keep warm. During last 10 minutes, cook noodles according to package directions. Serve stew over noodles.

This recipe yields 6 servings.
