8 | Bread - crust removed | |
8 oz | 227g | Cheddar, Swiss or American cheese - grated |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Cooked, chopped meat or shrimp - (optional) |
1 cup | 237ml | Light cream or milk |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Parsley |
Paprika - to taste |
Lightly grease crockpot. Alternate layers of bread and cheese, and if desired, meat. Beat together eggs, milk, salt and parsley. Pour over bread and cheese in crockpot. Sprinkle top with paprika. Cover and cook on HIGH for 30 minutes, then turn to LOW for 3 to 4 hours.
