Beef Hash (Crockpot) Recipe - Cooking Index
2 cups | 125g / 4.4oz | Cut-up cooked beef - (to 3 cups) |
(cubed stew beef works well for this) | ||
2 | Frozen hash brown potatoes - (10 oz ea) - thawed | |
1 | Onion - finely chopped | |
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Butter or margarine - melted |
1 cup | 237ml | Gravy or beef broth |
Salt - to taste | ||
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste |
Place all ingredients in crock-pot. Cover and cook on LOW setting for 6 to 8 hours (on HIGH setting for 2 to 3 hours).
This recipe yields 4 servings (about 1 1/2 quarts). Double the recipe for a 5-quart crockpot.
