Beef Goulash Recipe - Cooking Index
| 2 lbs | 908g / 32oz | Beef - cubed |
| 3 tablespoons | 45ml | Oil |
| 1 cup | 237ml | Mushrooms - sliced |
| 1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Onion - chopped (small) |
| 1 | Tomato soup | |
| 1/4 cup | 59ml | Water |
| 1 | Bay leaf | |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Paprika |
| 1/4 | Dairy sour cream |
Heat oil in skillet and brown meat on all sides. Place meat in crockpot and saute mushrooms and onion a few minutes in a skillet.
To the crockpot, add all remaining ingredients except sour cream and onions. Pour mixture over meat and stir together. Cook for 7 to 9 hours.
At serving time, spoon on sour cream and serve with noodles or rice.
This recipe yields 2 servings.
