Barbecued Spareribs California Style Recipe - Cooking Index
5 lbs | 2270g / 80oz | Spareribs - cut 2-rib pieces |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Cider vinegar |
1 1/2 tablespoons | 22ml | Worcestershire sauce |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Dark brown sugar |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Ketchup |
2 | Garlic cloves - minced | |
1 | Hot pepper sauce - or | |
1 | Liquid smoke flavoring |
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Arrange ribs on rack in baking pan. Brown in oven for 15 minutes on each side. Drain and put in slow cooker.
Combine remaining ingredients and pour over ribs. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 10 hours or on HIGH 3 1/2 to 4 hours.
This recipe yields 4 servings.
