Turkey Ham Quiche In A Hash Brown Crust Recipe - Cooking Index
| 3 cups | 711ml | Frozen hash brown potatoes - defrosted, and |

| 1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Chopped sweet onion - divided |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Chopped green pepper |
| 2 | Freshly-ground white pepper | |
| 1 | Egg - beaten | |
| Non-stick cooking spray - as needed | ||
| 1 1/2 cups | 219g / 7.7oz | Diced turkey ham |
| 1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Grated Swiss cheese |
| 1 cup | 237ml | Skim milk |
| 4 | Eggs | |
| 2 teaspoons | 10ml | Prepared mustard |
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Freshly-ground white pepper |
Crust: In a small bowl, combine potatoes, 1/4 cup onion, green pepper and pepper. Fold in 1 beaten egg. Spray 9-inch pie plate with non-stick cooking spray. Pat potato mixture evenly into prepared pie plate to form a crust, building up sides to rim.
Bake at 400 degrees 25 to 30 minutes or until crust is golden brown. (Recipe may be prepared up to this point, cooled, covered and refrigerated until ready to serve.)
Place potato crust in cold oven. Set temperature to 350 degrees. Heat 10 minutes. Remove crust from oven and continue with following steps.
Filling: In layers, sprinkle turkey ham, remaining onion and cheese evenly over crust.
In a small bowl, combine milk, 4 eggs, mustard and pepper; mix well. Pour over ingredients in crust.
Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until a knife inserted near center comes out clean. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting.
This recipe yields 6 servings.
