Grand View Inn Breakfast Cherry Bake

Recipe Ingredients

1   Refrigerated crescent rolls
1 1/2 cups 355mlCooked ground sausage
1/2 cup 73g / 2.6ozShredded Cheddar cheese
1 cup 237mlFrozen hash brown potatoes
5   Eggs
1 1/2 cups 355mlMilk
1 1/2 cups 93g / 3.3ozDried tart cherries
1/4 cup 36g / 1.3ozGrated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup 36g / 1.3ozChopped fresh herbs
  = (sage, lemon, thyme and/or cilantro)

Recipe Instructions

Line a 12- by 9- by 2-inch baking pan with crescent dough. Layer pastry with sausage, cheese and potatoes.

Beat eggs and milk. Pour over potatoes. Sprinkle with cherries, Parmesan cheese and herbs.

Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 30 to 40 minutes, or until golden and center is firm. Serve hot.

This recipe yields 8 servings.
