1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Bulk pork sausage - lightly cooked |
1/2 lb | 227g / 8oz | Sharp cheddar cheese - shredded |
6 | Day-old bread - cubed | |
4 | Eggs - beaten | |
4 cups | 948ml | Milk |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Dry mustard |
Drain sausage. In a 2 quart lightly greased casserole, alternate layers of sausage, cheese and bread. Beat eggs, milk and mustard together. Pour over casserole. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour
This recipe yields 4 servings.
Variation:
u Substitute ham for sausage and jack cheese for cheddar.
