Cinnamon rolls - (packed) | ||
1/3 cup | 53g / 1.9oz | Raisins |
8 cups | 1584g / 55oz | Eggs (large) |
4 1/2 cups | 1066ml | Milk |
1/3 cup | 65g / 2.3oz | Sugar |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Cinnamon |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Nutmeg |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla extract |
Half-and-half - for serving |
Into a well greased 3-quart pan, pour cubed cinnamon rolls. Sprinkle raisins evenly over all.
In a mixer, blend eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla, mixing well. Pour egg mixture over cinnamon rolls and raisins and allow to soak only 30 minutes.
Bake in a 325 degree oven for 50 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool. Serve warm or cold with half-and-half. Reheat in a microwave on low until warm if desired.
