Apple Sausage Recipe - Cooking Index
Apples and sausage complement each other in this flavorful dish.
Courses: Casseroles, Main Course1 | Brown and serve sausages - cut into chunks | |
1 | Cooking apple - cored, and (large) cut into large chunks | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Butter |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Lemon juice |
In a medium frying pan, brown sausages and apple in butter. Stir in brown sugar and lemon juice. Heat and serve with eggs, pancakes or waffles.
Variations: Add 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon with brown sugar and lemon juice.
