8 oz | 227g | Elbow macaroni - cooked, drained |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Lean ground beef |
1 | Chopped onion | |
1 | McCormick taco seasoning - (1.25 oz) | |
1 cup | 237ml | Water |
1 | Tomato sauce - (15 oz) | |
1 | Green chiles - (4 oz) | |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Frozen whole kernel corn |
2 cups | 292g / 10oz | Shredded Cheddar cheese |
In a large skillet, brown beef and onion over medium-high heat; drain.
Add seasoning mix, water, and tomato sauce. Bring to boil and simmer 10 minutes. Stir in cooked macaroni, chiles, and corn.
Pour mixture into a greased 13- by 9-inch baking dish; top with Cheddar cheese. Bake at 350 degree for 30 to 35 minutes or until heated through.
This recipe yields 9 (1 cup) servings.
