Taco Casserole

Recipe Ingredients

1 1/2 lbs 681g / 24ozLean ground beef or turkey
1   McCormick taco seasoning - (1.25 oz)
2   Tomato sauce - (8 oz ea)
1   Mexican corn mixture - (11 oz) - drained
  = (or whole kernel corn)
1 cup 146g / 5.1ozShredded Cheddar cheese
1 cup 146g / 5.1ozCoarsely-crushed tortilla chips

Recipe Instructions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Brown meat in a large skillet over medium-high heat; drain.

Stir in Taco Seasoning, tomato sauce, and corn. Simmer 5 minutes.

Spoon mixture into a 2-quart baking dish. Top with cheese and tortilla chips. Bake until cheese is melted, about 5 to 10 minutes.

This recipe yields 6 servings.

Serving suggestion: Garnish casserole with sour cream and sliced green onions, and serve with shredded lettuce and chopped tomatoes.
