Garlic Lime Chicken Recipe - Cooking Index
1/4 cup | 59ml | Lime juice |
1/3 cup | 78ml | Olive oil |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Tequila - (optional) |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | McCormick garlic powder |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | McCormick cilantro leaves |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | McCormick ground red pepper |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | McCormick ground cumin |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
1 1/2 lbs | 681g / 24oz | Boneless skinless chicken breasts |
Combine all ingredients except chicken in a glass dish or large self-closing plastic bag. Add chicken, turn to coat. Cover or close bag. Refrigerate 15 minutes.
Remove chicken from marinade and grill or broil 5 to 7 minutes per side. Baste with marinade halfway through cooking, if desired.
This recipe yields 6 servings.
