Chicken Parmigiana Recipe - Cooking Index
1/3 cup | 48g / 1.7oz | Bread crumbs |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Grated Parmesan cheese |
3/4 teaspoon | 3.8ml | McCormick Italian seasoning |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | McCormick garlic powder |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Boneless skinless chicken breasts |
1 | Egg beaten | |
1 | Tomato sauce - (8 oz) | |
3/4 cup | 109g / 3.8oz | Mozzarella cheese |
Combine first 4 ingredients in a shallow bowl. Dip each chicken breast in beaten egg, then roll in bread crumb mixture to evenly coat.
Place chicken on a baking sheet or jelly-roll pan. Bake in 375 degree oven 10 minutes. Turn chicken over; bake 10 to 12 minutes or until chicken is thoroughly cooked.
Spoon tomato sauce over chicken. Sprinkle cheese over top. Bake 3 minutes or until cheese is melted.
