Impossibly Easy Pizza Pie Recipe - Cooking Index
Another quick and easy way to make pizza -- in a pie!.
Courses: Main Course, Pizzas1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Onion - chopped (1/2 cup) (medium) |
1/3 cup | 48g / 1.7oz | Grated Parmesan cheese |
1/2 cup | 55g / 1.9oz | Bisquick Original baking mix |
1 cup | 237ml | Milk |
2 | Eggs | |
1 | Pizza sauce - (8 oz) | |
1/2 | Sliced pepperoni - (3 1/2 oz size) - see * Note | |
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Chopped green bell pepper |
3/4 cup | 109g / 3.8oz | Shredded mozzarella cheese |
* Note: One-half pound ground beef or bulk Italian sausage, cooked and drained, can be used instead of the pepperoni.
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Grease 9-inch pie plate. Sprinkle onion and Parmesan cheese in pie plate.
Stir baking mix, milk and eggs until blended. Pour into pie plate. Bake 20 minutes. Spread with pizza sauce; top with remaining ingredients.
Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until cheese is light brown. Cool 5 minutes.
This recipe yields 6 to 8 servings.
