Country-Style Turkey Recipe - Cooking Index
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Boneless skinless turkey or chicken - cut into strips |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Onion - chopped (small) |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Margarine or butter |
2 cups | 474ml | Milk |
1 | Birds Eye Mixed Vegetables - (10 oz) | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
3/4 teaspoon | 3.8ml | Poultry seasoning |
1 1/2 cups | 240g / 8.5oz | Original Minute Rice |
Cook and stir turkey and onion in hot margarine in large skillet until lightly browned. Add milk, vegetables, salt and poultry seasoning. Bring to full boil.
Stir in rice. Cover. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with fork.
This recipe yields 4 servings.
